Seattle Parks and Recreation Maintenance Project at Jefferson Park Lawn Bowling Building

Seattle Parks and Recreation is currently working to address the water discoloration in the Jefferson Park Lawn Bowling Club Building. As a maintenance project, we will be replacing accessible segments of water pipe within the Club House building. The building will closed for three weekends from mid-October to early November 2026 as we work to make this improvement.

This project may include replacement of a booster pump and water heater, and the installation of a water filter. If the above proposed work doesn’t fully address the water discoloration, Seattle Parks and Recreation will conduct additional investigations to identify the source of the problem and how to fix it.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we make these improvements. If additional weekends are needed to complete the work, building tenants, lawn bowling participants, and the public, will be notified as soon as possible.

For more information on this project please contact the Project Planner, Matthew Blinstrub at Matthew.Blinstrub@seattle.gov or visit Jefferson Park – Parks | seattle.gov.
