Seattle Parks and Recreation 2026 Indigenous Peoples’ Day Closures

Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

These facilities and services are CLOSED:

All recreation programs
Community centers and teen life centers
Indoor swimming pools
Green Lake Small Craft Center
Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center
Seattle Japanese Garden and Volunteer Park Conservatory (closed regularly on Mondays)

These facilities are OPEN on regular or modified schedules:

Parks
Amy Yee Tennis Center (Facility open; programs closed)
Boat ramps
Golf courses and ranges
