Burn Ban Lifted - Effective Thursday, October 1, 2026

CLALLAM COUNTY BURN BAN IS LIFTED

Effective October 1, 2026, Clallam County burn ban will be lifted. Recreational fires, residential burns and permitted debris burns are now allowed.

This action applies to unincorporated Clallam County. Check with Washington State Department of Natural Resources and National Parks agencies for their requirements as I have no authority over their jurisdictions.

Urban Growth areas, including Port Angeles, Sequim, Carlsborg, Forks, Joyce, Clallam Bay, and Sekiu, are restricted from outdoor debris burning, through Washington State law.

Outside the UGA, contact your local Fire District for burning regulations and permit requirements.
