First Hill Shooting Leaves One Man Dead

Seattle police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in First Hill. 

Around 8:00 p.m on Tuesday night, 911 received a call that someone was dead in a First Hill apartment. Officers went to the 900 block of 8th Avenue and found a man with suspected gunshot wounds. Police began lifesaving efforts until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived and pronounced the man deceased. 

Detectives with the Homicide Unit will be responsible for the follow-up investigation.
